I have been a long time lurker of this forum but have a VERY basic understanding of neuroscience, unfortunately I also have severe cognitive impairment so navigating around and doing the simplest of things in order to improve my general understanding of Neurochemistry is very scattered and unproductive.

I'd really appreciate if some members can recommend some resources which helped them get a better understanding of Neurochemistry. The simpler the better really, I just want to improve my understanding of how drugs interact with certain neurotransmitters and gain a better grasp of what I'm reading on this wonderful forum. I'm 4 years down the line of having this ridiculously severe cognitive impairment and I'm still chasing my tail, so slowly but surely I'll need to develop a better understanding of what im blooming reading!  :)

So does any one have a good resources? Any good beginner's guides?

Thanks.

I knew someone would come up with that kind of response. Wikipedia is a given, I just don't know what specifics to learn from so if you did find help from wikipedia what specific parts helped you the most? I'm looking for more simplified material if possible.

Brilliant recommendation. Thank you very much, again!
