I´m interrested as.. in Serotonine depletion, just saying:
Fenfluramine decreases serotonine in autistic and increased, via the depletion, the IQ
https://books.google...tonemia&f=false
This could be possible with evodiamine:
Evodiamine may also act in a manner comparable to tianeptine by increasing the number of serotonin transporters available in the brain, enhancing the reuptake of serotonin.[3]
http://en.wikipedia....wiki/Evodiamine
Berberine and evodiamine influence serotonin transporter (5-HTT) expression via the 5-HTT-linked polymorphic region
http://www.ncbi.nlm....pubmed/21647174
I´ve tried it once( evoida plant extract) and it was somehow anxiogenic but also nice and a bit addicting (perhaps via TRPV activation ?).

Why are you interested in serotonine depletion? I think that enhacing the reuptake of serotonin would only increases the effects of serotonin in the brain, just like CDP upregulates dopamine and acetylcoline receptors.

Serotonine is a modulator of dopamine + others (glutamate, noradrenaline) and is afaik considered with rather an inhibitory function, therefore my interrest.
Decreasing Serotonine could have an impact on Social(decrease of emphaty?, increase of affect?, decrease of anxiety?)
sexual (rather an increase in males and bisexuallity/nonselectivity!) cognitive(increase?) and motivational (Increase?) behavior.
E.g. Some studies are based on the hypothesis that too much serotonine is implicated with some Autisitc phenotypes.
On the other hand, the brain is fine-tuned with those Neurotransmitters and everything has its place but I´m still wondering how it is,
given that a transient pharmacological decrease has no negative effects on epigenetics or exerts damage by e.g too much glutamate & etc
