LongeCity has a fundraiser accreditation scheme, under which mission-related fundraising projects receive a 'star-rating' based on an assessment conducted by LongeCity. This review process needs to be coordinated.
Once a fundraiser has received a 'high' star-rating, LongeCity will co-promote it. This is can be a considerable effort. There are different opinions whether it is a good idea to hire fundraisers on a commision basis and there are certainly risks associated with such an approach, but LongeCity has decided to give it a try, for certain projects.
We are looking for a smart, cheerful, well-connected individual with a scientific background or at least fluency in the life sciences. Integrity and compatible fundraising ethics are key!
Compensation:
A) $40 for every peer review process fully completed (3 star fundraisers only) as determined by the President. (This reward is 40% of the ‘application fee’. From the remainder of the fee the fundraiser has a budget of $60 which can be used to reward committed peer reviewers.)
B) $8 for every $100 raised on approved star-rated or LongeCity-internal fundraisers at the time the fundraiser is successfully completed as determined by the Treasurer.
