Coming up this Tuesday (May 26th) I will be producing the next episode of LongeCity Now with featured guest Keith Henson.
 
Mr. Henson might be familiar to many of you, if not, it might be time to study up. He has been a fundamental figure in the development of space travel and engineering theory, transhumanism, and cryonics. In addition to probing his long term view of these developments I will find out about his current projects.

In this interview with Keith Henson, we here about his history with the L5 society and cryonics as well as his perspectives on the future of space engineering, cryonics, and artificial intelligence.

A couple of highlights from the second half of the interview. He didn't have any key insight as to why there are not more people signed up for cryonics, but he was positive about the fact that there are over 100 patients at Alcor and over 1,000 members. He didn't pick a likely path by which artificial general intelligence would develop but he was certain it would.
