Greetings everyone.
I first started poking around here a couple years ago when my father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. What I read here (Lostfalco's thread in particular) started me down a rabbit hole, and I couldn't have imagined where it'd lead.
I'm a filmmaker by trade, and was inspired (with a friend) to start production on a documentary that should resonate with the crowd here. The film explores some (seemingly) radical ideas on disease, aging, nutrition, and consciousness with the aim of igniting change in the scientific and medical establishments. Critical thinking, self-education/experimentation, and non-dogmatic thought are the sub-themes.
We've already interviewed a motley crew of maverick scientists and thinkers including Dr. Gerald Pollack, Dr. Maewan Ho, Dr. Gilbert Ling, Dr. Fred Kummerow, Dr. Raymond Peat, Dr. Michael Persinger, and Danny Roddy. And if our Kickstarter campaign is successful, we have plans for many more. Would love to hear your suggestions! So far our topics cover alternate models of the living cell, infrared light, magnetic fields, hormones (pregnenolone, progesterone), the thyroid, methylene blue, breathing/co2, etc. etc.
If your interested, check out our Kickstarter campaign, which has more info and context.
Here's a trailer of our progress so far. And two in a series of teasers on each subject: Harold Hillman & Gerald Pollack
