Moderators note: This idea should also include a plan for raising awareness of LongeCity among gamers and getting LongeCity listed for donation on this service. Perhaps with a tagline like: Building the future you're gaming for.

 

First of I didn't exactly know where to put this thread, so if any admin know where it would fit best please move it.

 

Now, I recently was buying some games in the Humble Bundle store, at humblebundle.com,  according to the site 10% of my purchase in the Humble Bundle store will go to a charity of my choice.  I did a search on their site and found that one of the charities is Longecity its self.  According to the site any charity register with PayPal Giving Fund qualifies for this.  I search for SENS research, but didn't found it -which is too bad since they give more money then the 0.5% of Amazon.

 

For those not familiar with the site they sell video games for pc (windows, mac & linux), as well as audio books, ebooks, and music.

That's actually a great idea, I've bought games from Humble Bundle before and I didn't think about checking for Longecity or SENSF.
There should really be banners about stuff like this, It's as easy as putting an image with this link on

I'll keep it in mind next time I decide to buy a game, there's quite a bit of games on sale in the humble store besides the bundles.

Yea, I didn't taught on looking for an other charity at first.  Unfortunately, SENS is not part of PayPal Giving Fund, yet.  I have let them know, and hope they can become part of PayPal Giving Fund soon.
