Looks like it potentially is a usefull addition to one's diet, no?

I mean i like Stevia a lot but this might be good too.

Tagatose is patented (No wonder it has G.R.A.S. status). The F.D.A. once again uses it's guns to promote monopoly profit from patents.

If it carmelizes (I didn't see this in the article) it may have some limitied use. Otherwise SweetLeaf already makes a stevia product with inulin fibre.
