So recently I stopped Nicotine as well by strengthening my will through vegan Tryptophan supplementation (->Serotonin, Melatonin, Niacin).
Interestingly, my mood became very stable, less thoughts about stupid humanity and my circadian rhythm improved significantly.
Previously I stayed up till 03:00 am almost every night and now I get tired when the sun goes down

It's the least common essential amino acid in our food. I think there's more to it than modern science knows to date...a evolutionary reward system anyone?
