My ferritin dropped from 43 to 30 in about 6-8 weeks. Now my diet is pretty awful (not much meat, no green vegs except lettuce) and lot's of coffee. Still, it seems pretty steep drop, so do you think such a drop suggests a bleeding in the stomach or intestine?

Ferritin is also an acute phase protein. So yes, fluctuations of this magnitude (and much larger) are perfectly normal.
