Hello folks.... I'm reading where Steve's latest dosing regime is 100 pg/week...diluted bacteriostatic water mix is at 1 unit = 5 pg of GDF11. I'm a little stumped on this one. What's the best way to do this? I can only seem to find Bacteriostatic water in 30ml bottles.

I am interested in ultra-low dosing this as a 20-something. If a 40 year old has 1400ng circulating GDF11, a newborn should have 3500ng considering a decrease of1%/year. Instead of doing the latest low dose of 250 picograms/day for 4-6 weeks, I'd maybe doing a load phase of 40 picograms for 2 weeks at most, and then a dose of 10 pg every one or two weeks.
I'd be monitoring the vitals of course, but as my reaction time or blood pressure or HRV probably have not degenerated too much, I would not know what to look for. I am not looking to increase any vitality, I am looking to conserve my health before it deteriorates.
Any ideas?

Read GDF11Rejuvenation.com thoroughly, especially the paper. I've given up on any kind of formula for GDF11 dosing. The amount you need to down regulate for my 50+ crowd is typically between 10,0000 and 20,000 pg. People who exercise need less, sedentary people more.
I have very little data on 20 and 30 somethings, but I'd take no more than 50 pg/day and then watch trending like a hawk. You could easily down regulate at 2000 pg or less.

Please read GDF11Rejuvenation.com on how to inject GDF11. it's a tough cytokine to work with since you need to titrate dose to key biomarkers like BP, pulse, HRV and reaction time. That's why most people who take GDF11 join our study.

Am I reading this right? You are saying the starting dose is 10,000pg per day?
You recently said 250pg per day is the starting dose for 4-6 weeks.
Perhaps you mean total dose 250pg per day times 42 days is 12,500

i posted already about this, i got back my whistle register at about 48yo (now 50) and it slowly consolidated like i had it in the past (i think i lost it at about 40yo).it did not expand, just gave me back my range like when i was younger
the range goes up til about c7 (vitas dedication).it also boosted all other registers to allow me to sing metal songs like steel heart, queensryche and michael kiske like nothing...i mean vocal folds so elastic like a teen that i can sing low volume, high volume, very little air support or even lack of air support by mistake and the notes come out well anyway
the only bad thing is i developped faryngeal reflux lately, at first i could sing despite throat ache but now some days i cannot keep vocal folds closed and i get craks and so on at those very high notes, so some days i cannot sing at all but on no reflux days the range is all there
another example: rob halford had lost is range, quite normal at 68yo and this year he has recovered so much range, he probably used stuff like this

i dont think there is any need of gdf11 at 30yo and vocal folds are at their best at that age

When you reach the age you start balding, that's aging to me (apart from those people who get that at 15 etc).

i can confirm that gdf11 made my lose weight and there was no way to increase weight whatever the food choice and quantity (lost weight too much for a 50yo).at the moment i am not taking it and weight loss has stopped at minimum normal bmi range for my age
a frind of mine is also losing weight but he keeps eating junk food and no exercise so his weight loss is not too much

An HR monitor such as Polar H7 and H10 linked to "Elite HRV" app will give you HRV stats cheaply.

There is a free android app which makes the three measurements that were suggested: NN time in MS from one complete heartbeat to the beginning of the next, NN50 or this time averaged over 50 heartbeats, and RMSS 50, the variance of 50 measurements of successive heartbeats. No need to buy a gadget. The app uses the LED and camera lens on your android smartphone. It is called 'Heart Rate Variability HRV Camera' and is made by ECG4Everybody.com and is in the PlayStore.
Reliable upper arm digital BP meters are on FleaBay. The one I bought is under $20 US free shipping, and I have tried it comparing it to a good home sphygmomanometer BP cuff using a stethoscope and found the measurements very close.

I would get 10 mg of epihalon in case you can't sleep been there done that from GDF 11 and watch out for heartburn. Noticeable difference in stomach acid production.

Hello Longecity,
Time for a GDF11 update from patient zero. I have been on GDF11 for 5.5 years and it is unquestionably the best thing I have ever done for myself. I'm pushing 62 and have zero health issues and take no prescription drugs. I am doing everything I did at age 30 and then some. 2019 has been a good year and I have skied, biked and backpacked a record number of days this year. I have a ton of stamina and I can do a 10 mile section of the Appalachian trail with 50 lbs on my back and never get winded. Even on the rock scrambles!
My biomarkers, and I take hundreds as you know, are better than 10 years ago so one could argue I have not aged much. This summer, I will take a hard look at GDF11 "old timers" and post the results. But so far, people on GDF11 3+ years doing very well if they dose right.
I saw some comments about me charging $7500 to join my GDF11 study. Well first of all, this has turned into a full time job and I have to work 7 days/week reviewing people's trending biomarker spreadsheets and making sure their dose is optimized. It's hard work and a lot of responsibility. And now the cohort is so large that I have to pay biomarker analysts to help me out. And they don't work for free. And then there is office space, computers, software development, etc.
Though anyone who has joined the study will say it's worth it and people under my tutelage do far better than the DIY crowd. GDF11 dosing is not simple - there's a down regulation period and then the maintenance dose. And the proper window of dosing is difficult to find.
I also invested a considerable sum, over $300,000, in deciphering GDF11. In the beginning, I paid for most people's biomarkers. And I have a full biomarker lab here in NYC that includes a $25,000 Sphygmocor machine. Sorry, but doing something of this magnitude costs a lot of money. And when one works this hard, they should be paid for their time.

Thanks for the update, Steve ! I was wondering when you would drop in here at Longecity for an update. I watch all your gdf11 presentations that turn up on Youtube, including the ones this year. I can offer a few observations on my own experience after over 2 years on gdf11.
Full disclosure : I'm not a professional, no college degrees, no medical or tech anything - an ordinary dude. 52 yrs old, no drugs or alcohol, overweight. After about 6 months on gdf11 I really started noticing my skin looking much more youthful. At about 1 year people seemed surprised at my true age. My brother is 4 years younger than me yet people were saying I looked younger than him. Now 2 years on gdf11 at the age of 52, I look in the mirror and see an early 40s version of myself. Last month I went to the dr. for a physical, my pulse and b/p
were that of a teenager's.
The Fountain of Youth might just be flowing with GDF-11.

Thanks for the kind words and feedback Thomas and Echoman! There is no question in my mind that GDF11 is at least half the aging equation. But there are surely other blood borne substances like GH, FGF21, etc. that need to be replaced to completely halt aging. And hopefully we'll find them all in the next 5 years.
Also, you guys will be happy to know that I am now "hunting big game" with GDF11. We just reversed congestive heart failure in one person and brought their ejection fraction from 20 to 40, a 100% increase. The current treatments, Entresto and ablation, might get you 20% improvement if you are lucky. Heart failure kills 300,000 people per year and if GDF11 can reverse it, this will be the biggest anti aging accomplishment in the history of mankind
BTW, MOA of GDF11 reversing CHF is believed to be major ventricular remodeling due to GDF11 reactivating HOX genes which control the shape of our organs.
Anyway, I am working on putting together a CHF GDF11 study. If you know someone with low EF who is willing to take a little risk, please send them my way.

no dose you are too young for this.intermittent fasting, resveratrol, nad boosters is the max i would do at your age to avoid aging faster or health damage
