Do cooking oils such as olive oil, sunflower oil, peanut oil....etc contain phytic acid in significant quantities? Please do correct me if I am wrong, but to my understanding phyttic acid is the form in which plants store phosphorous right? That been the case, if cooking oils don't contain phosphorous they can't contain phytic acid right? I have checked the nutritional profiles of various cooking oils, none contain phosphorous.
