I am more interested in the aphrodisiac qualities of Musli, I don't need the erectogenic properties. Viagra is mainly just an erectogenic agent and it's not without it's problems from what I understand. I like to experiment with herbs that might enhance sexual performance just because I like sex. I found years ago that Ginseng gave me a boost in this area and have had a general interest ever since.
As far as using unkown brands, I would rather not, which is why I was asking if anyone knew of a quality source or had any experience with the herb. Of course there is risk in anything but as long as you research it first best as possible, I suspect there is much less risk trying an herb than driving to work every day.
Rosa damascena oil has published studies on it enhancing libido and even mitigating ssri sexual issues. Good luck finding some that can be taken internally however!
Prami and reequip also have libido effects but having used Prami I can't say that I noticed anything.
Raising T without knowing what you are doing can be dangerous. To raise T to get libido and muscular effects takes a lot of T and the effects can be short lived and not at all permanent.
Raise T = raised DHT = raised E. Raising T can actually be counter productive. You need to know all of your hormone levels and keep everything in check.
I am 1000% in belief of better living through chemistry! But you need to know what you are doing to your other hormones as a result of increasing T.
Heck, clomid will increase T. And it will raise it a lot. But there are always waterfall effects downstream when playing with hormones. And they are not good effects. BPH is common with men on TRT. Does anyone want that? Gotta go into it with your eyes open.
Very low dose triptorelin also increases T. But too much puts you into the realm of androgen deprivation therapy.
Unless you are bodybuilding and your T levels are normal. I would leave well enough alone.
T is VERY weak. You need very high levels for libido enhancement. Your body and brain receptors also adapt quickly. 300mg T will be good for a first cycle and effects on muscle and libido. Then your body adapts. Then you need 500 and then you need a gram.
A minor bump in T from herbs will quickly be adapted away.
