So I've been wondering about seeking financing from the LongeCity community to start businesses. I've talked about forming a credit union with a radical life extension theme or purpose, the goal being to enrich our members and raise money for research. While it's still a bit far off, I figure offering opportunities to forum members first could be advantageous and lay that ground work.

So here are my top ideas:

1. An effective weight loss shake or drink. I believe I can optimize delivery and more. A portion of the net revenue from this product will benefit Max Life's fundraiser for BioViva, specifically their myostatin gene therapy which is effective for weight loss, diabetes, muscle wasting, bone density, sclerotic plaques, is effective in fighting aging, and more in animal models with human data to be made available shortly. May also support other weight loss gene therapies as they become available to support.

2. A protein balancer/enhancer. Designed for anti-aging. Will also support Max Life's BioViva Fundraiser for their HTERT gene therapy. Human data will also be available shortly.

3. A local supplement shop or maybe even a LEF franchise if available. I'd be looking more for local DE/MD partners for something like this. If you're going to rent a store, you need to staff it for as many hours as possible and maximize your investment. I'd need to raise $40k for the business and $11.5k for each month of operating capital that I'd like to have to start with, plus enough money to adjust initial inventories to be more competitive with big chain vendors and build digital signage, which I'll pencil in as another $11.5k. I may also offer and specifically market supplement cognitive enhancement products and perhaps nootropics which can be sold for human consumption.

I'm writing business plans now, I'll be seeking financing in a few weeks to months as I get all the figures and projections worked out. If you happen to own a supplement store or online store and would like to find out what I'm making and commit to placing an order. Please let me know.

I know nothing about business but any way to help support Longecity's life extension business that is legal and safe is a good thing. :)
