Unimpeachable Players

I arrived here stranded
and I don’t know why
Now I’m sailing toward my death
like in the blink of an eye,
what is this a joke?
what did I do to deserve this,
I’m standing here facing obliteration
and I’m a little bit nervous,
a little,
you know,
its just my life on the line,
the ways of space are trying to fade me,
but I’m ripe on the vine,
the type to define,
the up and coming evolution of man,
the solutions at hand,
time tried to strand
but crow’s nest
says 1 MILE to land
blood in the water,
surrounded by fins
but with one MILE on the winds,
the end is here for oblivion,
existence shoots, scores,
and it wins,
existence begins,
to take a whole new shape,
as our horizons expand,
free to live our dreams and,
explore these lands,
so wide and vast,
and now we don’t have to move fast,
because at last
we've been saved by the new wave of brave,
the pioneers of the upcoming years,
propose a cheers,

I’m ready to fight,
this involuntary blight that is killing me,
Its my choice to die and I choose indefinity,
don’t let it numb your brain, we can’t succumb to the strain,
we as a people, must overcome agings long evil reign

the door is locked,
the portal is broken,
the key is busted,
the lock is rusted shut and smoking,
we got to get through it if we're ever going to live,
with the weight of the world,
this door is going to give,
so let’s chart a course for the indefinity revolution,
set a roundtable to expand it,
expound on it,
break ground with
and then make some sound with it,
noise,
like a siren,
pulsing like white hot light through the air,
calling all to prepare,
for war,
the spoils in which,
all will soon share,
In this harbor that we live in,
if every ship says it is willing,
we can explore this sea,
of utter and vast and deep mystery,
to be sure,
before we conquer we'll see many hard days,
but boat hulls aren’t meant to flatten,
but to roll with the waves,
its no blow to the brave,
through out history,
they know that victors
have encountered crushing blows before victory.

memento mori,
but life is sine qua non,
the stage is set

and the race is on.

I like it, it must have taken a while to think up so many rhymes. I'd like to hear it when you get it recorded. Are you going to upload them?

Any other comments? The only thing stopping me from making this song happen now is a faster computer to support my music beat software.

My computer crashed about 7 months ago and I had to down grade a way slower computer because of money reasons. Will be upgrading as soon as possible though.

Well, I got another computer and Im having it upgraded and fixed by this guy I know. When thats finished Im going to still need to go online and order some beat samplers. (Any genres of beat anybody might think are particularily suited for imminst, or just suggestions in general?) Ive got beats on my mixer program, Im just not feeling any of them really. Once Ive got those two things, Im going to either send the beats and lyrics to a friend to put the voice to the beats, or buy a voice distorter and do it myself. (I just dont have any kind of natural voice for that kind of stuff.) Any ideas on this, suggestions, directions to go in, volunteers for using your voice or whatever would be appreciated.

That's great, Brokenportal! I've been fascinated with the prospect of Immortalist Music for quite some time, and I think those lyrics are great. Are they to be sung, spoken, rapped? What equipment and software do you use?

Thanks for the encouragment. Hopefully it turns out. Im not sure if they will be sung spoken or rapped. I used the beat to a dmx song in my head while I wrote it to guide me, which I think caused it to be a little choppy. Ide rather it be like a rage against the machine sort of thing, but Ill go with whatever works the best. As for equipment I just have best buy kind of amateur stuff, but Ill see how it works. Ive got magix music studio and adobe photo and video for software, I used to have a digital camcorder for the purpose, but it broke, and then I have a 4 track recorder and a few other various things for recording live rifs and beats and stuff. I just got a new computer for the purpose of downloading the software and cant wait to get it hooked up and going.

Awesome poem (/song)!

We've seen time and again in history that music is the best way to rapidly spread a meme.

As you continue developing these, I'm looking forward to hearing some that have widespread appeal. This is a great way to commit resources for advocacy!

Thanks!

I second that with a passion!

Kind of, I mean, thats what its for, but Ive also seen where it just kind of goes down the tubes as hippy music.

I do though think there is a way around it. For one, It doesnt seem like people in past movements and causes and things have really given it enough chance to succeed. I feel music as a means of advertisement or education is a severly um, whats the word... underused, unharnessed, (something like, that) tool for getting an idea into peoples heads. In conjunction with all the other forms of advertising that life extension is using I think it will all add up in the forceful kind of way that we are all looking for and that life extension needs.

Im trying to put these songs together with music making software I bought but I cant figure out where to get beat samples yet, after all this time. I collect rough draft song and ad ideas I want to work on at this link, if anybody is interested in helping me toss ideas around and or chat about it or whatever: http://groups.msn.co.../_whatsnew.msnw

If you can afford it, Fruity Loops is a foolproof drum program. Press the buttons, press play, all done. No need for any human contact with those quarrelsome drummers. ;)

Thanks, I have the magix music software now, its just that the beats in it are all techno and I need any other kind of beat than that, but I cant find any. Ive looked online, Ive gone to music stores, Ive asked my musicly inclined friends and there just doesnt seem to be cds with beat samples that are diverse anywhere in the world. I bought a key board a long time ago to make some. I know a guy that plays it, but he wont, "give up" his music beat ideas, even for a good cause, which I totally dont understand, but anyways, if I ever figure out how to hook the key board up to my computer I'll just have to try to figure out how to make my own beats I guess.

If anybody sees this, I need some more feed back on it if you could throw any my way. Its been years in the making but Im working on getting into some music software operating classes soon so hopefully things will move along soon. Genuine unadulterated feedback wether negative or positive is completly welcome in the mean time.

I had to dig this up to get a quote out of it so I thought Ide bump it. Ive put these into the projects list and will continue looking for people to turn them into songs. We are going to do a big recruit drive for people to sign up for the projects list once its all ready so hopefully something picks up with songs like these at that time too. There will probably also eventually be money offered to do this or lyrics like them too.

I came here to get this quote from it:

but boat hulls arent meant to flatten,

but to roll with the waves,

its no blow to the brave,

through out history,

they know that victors

encountered crushing blows before victory.

I'm quite liking this one. It's easier to understand than the last one of yours I read. :)

Im sitting here waiting. I know everybody wants to help, and I know a lot of people help a lot. More of us need to be here every day though. Im waiting. I can only do so much work. I need to feed off of and work off of and with others. People get more done when they work together. Ending Aging is an every day affair, its an every day war fare. Aging isnt giving us any slack and we cant give it any. We are dying. Dying, thats really really bad.

I continue to do this and that, but I need feedback, help, insight, theres all kinds of stuff going, fah, seu, art team, vip team, plan being structured to help us get to higher levels, theres a lot of stuff that can be done, that has a meaningful impact right now. Please commit more time to this. Please commit to meeting here at imminst like it was your job. Act like it was your life on the line. Please, for the love of life. In my unquenched need to work in accellerating teams I wrote this choppy set of verses that needs some editing.

Don’t wait till you find the time, aging has found you,
your cells have been bad, grim reapers going to ground you,
the battle is now, theres no room for try,
look to the big picture, ask how and why, fight or die,
Fight, for the love of your life, life, fight
Rage, rage against the dying of great bright light,
Light, up the stage and rock and roll
Roll this rock up this hill
Hell, Save your soul,
Push, push with your will, your will is strong
Determine, determination wins, win, it wont be long,
Inspire, inspire by leading, hearts and blood lines are bleeding
The time, look at the time line, on your life span receding,
Receding, imminst is your call to arms, wasting time is self defeating
Keep heeding, don’t buy the farm, opportunity is fleeting,
Fleet, set sail, oceans of blood raging, keep the pages turning, we’re setting and staging,
the touret posts and battle ships and growing armies all equipping,
its time, it’s the only time, its your only chance, fight to the death, keep preparing, its coming, d day on ageing.

Im going to be here plotting out some more points for projects and reading up on various parts that go into it. Ill be around. Please commit with me. I know there are a lot of determined people here that want this and want to give their time to this. Settle in, sink in for the long haul, make that leap, indefinity and all of the universe and all of existence wait patiently for you.

Ive been writing lyrics to support life extension and about 8 months ago I finally started buying equipment to put them together.

As soon as I get a voice distorter and somebody to help me get all this stuff hooked up properly Im going to start trying them out. Here is one that I want to try. The title of the song is a phrase from something that I read here in imminst a while ago.

I'm no expert but sometimes I feel that maybe the lyrics should be more simple and "catchy." Tunes that catch in my head tend to be repetitive and simple choruses but maybe that's just me. Whilst the point has to be spread, I think that too many lyrics would be not as memorable.
