My understanding is that you have to take something for serotonin when taking L-Tyrosine on a regular basis, otherwise it may get depleted.
Would SAM-e suffice or must I take Tryptophan/5-HTP?

SAM-e instead of Tryptophan for L-Tyrosine combo?
