DXM (Dextromethorphan-- aka-- Robitussin) :: 6.4mg per kilogram of body weight (once every 2 weeks-- may leave you out of it for 5 hours, so it's good to take at a time when you can sit around not doing anything)
 
Memantine :: 10mg in the morning + 5-10mg at night (taper up 2.5mg every 3-4 days to avoid dissociation and other side effects)
 
Adrafinil :: 300 - 600mg (precursor to Modafinil-- literal Modafinil-- not something similar to it-- actual Modafinil-- can be hard on the liver-- takes 90 minutes to kick in-- but it's usually not relevant at this dosage and frequency)
 
Caffeine :: 200mg
 
PhenylPiracetam Hydrazide :: 100mg (2x / week)
 
N-Acetyl Semax Amidate :: 600mg
 
N-Acetyl Selank :: 200mg
 
300mg 5-HTP + 3000mg L-Tyrosine + 400mg EGCG (green tea extract, if you aren't one with the gene that will result in it destroying your liver)
 
Robitussin explicitly often has Acetaminophen mixed in, which can easily result in liver damage at the dosages mentioned here, so it's important to ensure you're getting pure DXM, rather than something mixed with other things. Also, Robitussin combined with MAOIs or SSRIs results in instant death. Therefore, it's important to research all of what's listed here (thoroughly) prior to attempting to administer them. 
 
What effect will these things have? Many. They clear the static of your thoughts (OCD, etc), they result in a permanent stabilized intelligence increase (10 IQ points, or fluidity with what was already present), and they effectively eliminate one's inability to do things (procrastination). That's the key and corner stone of it all. It eliminates the procrastination problem!

DXM never struck me as a smart drug. I would caution its long term use. Memantine is already a partial calcium channel antagonist. It's good that you avoid serotonergics but I wonder the interaction with other NMDA regulating compounds. Seems like a balancing act you have going on to get the right concentration and LTP. Phenylpiracetam increases activity, modafinil increases activity, Memantine modulates activity, caffeine increases activity, Tyrosine decreases activity (or can), EGCG decreases activity, etc.

The biweekly reset is a great idea, but I don't think it has to be drug induced. I mean no one talks about cognitive benefits from a friendly church: the realignment effect of worship, the associative cognitive benefits from a good social chatter after a sermon, and the excitement that comes along when expressing your sensitive views and vulnerabilities. Substitute the worship with outdoor group activities or intense therapy or self forgiveness practice or EFT or even playing music until you are zombified. People need a complete mental break from life or else the burn out.

And yes people can directly benefit and others can certainly profiteer from the combinations of religious and scientific activities: http://www.ncbi.nlm....us double blind but if it was my business, it would be called "pay to pray it all away."

Not trying to get on anyone's nerves. Just stating that willing the refocusing the mind almost to the point of exhaustion combined with added sleep are super effective ways of attaining a similar reset. I just thought it was interesting how our weekends with religious roots were based in this rejuvenating theory.

But maybe you do have to use DXM to reinforce your "me time". I mean, I eat extra fiber and magnesium so I poop more to get some reflective silence. Almost the same thing... Not really... Or is it? No, probably not since I use that time to study bio hacking...

As far as some ketamine or DXM alternative that will release your from your everyday tension with a new perspective and is 100% safe and is also a drug and a nootropic... Idk... Got nothing. Risk seems inevitable, don't you think?

I take Cat's Claw for sleep, but it definitely lowers blood pressure... And even gave me headaches first couple times. Maybe there is another version that doesn't? Anyway, check this article out:

I suggested the above dosage and frequency due to the dangers associated with it. That is, if you stay within 1.5mg-7.5mg/kg of bodyweight, don't use it more than once every 2 weeks, and don't combine with other things (like MAOIs or SSRIs), then it works well without any side effects or worries.

Swap dxm for ketofin, add in udca and/or tudca. And D3 and melatonin to protect your brain.
