Longevity Talks!!! This meetup is an *informal* gathering to talk about longevity and meet or network with people interested in life extension, healthy longevity, rejuvenation, indefinite lifespan advocacy and promotion, aging research, biomedical gerontology, regenerative medicine, cryonics, interventions and technologies for (radical) life extension. The meetup is open to all !!!
A lot has happened since last year's meeting... (here are a few examples: the rise of crowdfunding projects against aging via lifespan.io, 'Nature' making its headline about senolytics, a lot of stem cells success stories, OncoSENS showcasing successful allotopic expression of two mtDNA genes, Liz Parrish's "experiment" with gene therapy, and a lot more...)
Background Information: This meetup has traditionally been organised as a dinner by the Finnish Longevity group on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/groups/FinnishLongevityAlliance/) on October 1st which is the UN "International Day of Older Persons" and is also referred to in parts of the longevity activists community as the “International Longevity Day”.
Note: If we have enough people in that longevity meetup, Antti P. who's making a TV documentary on Longevity is interested to get some footage from the event
