Following up on my recent article and infographic and analysis 'arguments against cryonics', I present 'arguments against life extension'

The infographic seeks to summerise both specific schools of objection, as well as higher level concepts to allow life extension advocates to better counter the variety of objections and to provide some resources for doing so. However, the rebuttals could always use additional contributors, please get involved!

Neither one of these is scientific, so they can be tackled. And they should be by the way.

Overpopulation for example is not connected with the average lifespan, but with the birth rates. The countries, with the highest life expectancy have the lowest birthrates. And the countries, that have the lowest life expectancy have the highest birth rate and are the contributors for the overpopulation. If we all start living to 120 and we have only one child, there will be the opposite - population shortage. If we all live to 120 and we have exactly 2 children, we will live in an equilibrium. Even if we right now in this moment become immortal, and no more children are being born, there will be space for everyone. Overpopulation is a problem of uncontrolled multiplication, not a problem of longer life.

Everything you have gathered is nothing more than the delusional thinking of the mindless crowd.

I explicitly tackled the overpopulation myth in quite a lot of detail which makes me think you have not read my writings.
