What about possibly using Bupropion to smash out the blank mind? I wonder.

Any tips on how to regulate 5ht1a receptor sites from ssri usage? Or medications, all I can find is that you have to deplete all neurotransmitters to cause upregulation? Any pointers I'm not a pharmacologist.

I am willing to try anything if the theory is good for this blank mind shit I do think possibly ssris could have a role here still.
I'm really annoyed my psychologist still is certain I'm adhd inattentive and will only keep me on flouroxetine at this time also after requesting nortriptyline and modafinil.
What move do I make next I'm hard trying to get a job this shit Is also making me incapable and people are giving up on me.

Well I was not able to go the drug route like I wanted and currently have been experimenting with diet...I ate some chia seeds this morning and felt pretty good. I had to chew them well in my mouth, they expand as you chew them. They are a tricky food. They are high in Omega 3. The Western diet is high in Omega 6 which is pro inflammatory and can cause stroke, heart attack. I also experimented eating vegetables, pure and raw from Earth Fare's organic salad bar. Interestingly, I have gotten really good effects that I am trying to isolate and understand. One good effect was that I actually had, got thoughts instead of the usual blank, dead mind and I was able to carry out the thoughts, commands from my mind. Another effect I noticed was I felt speedy, really relaxed and was talking faster. Another effect was an improvement in memory as compared to a starchy or fruit meal. I am trying to isolate which vegetable and in what quantity this is taking place. My hunch is broccoli and kale. I think these increase testosterone. Another thing I noticed forgot to mention was an increase in libido and comfort around women. This last was very interezting. My first experiment was eating on large organic orange sweet bell pepper with 2-4 kale leaves this made me feel good and relaxed initially for about 2-3 hours but then the effect went away. I am really surprised these foods have effects like drugs.

I did another experiment at the juice bar. With two large bunches of kale leaves juiced, some carrots and some spirulina in the juice. This had the effect of making me feel relaxed for about an hour but cognitively didn't do much.

Some variables I am trying to keep constant are good sleep, plenty of water or veggie juice and no pornography or masturbation.

Still experimenting. Seems that vegetables have a libido enhancing effect and fruit a diminishing effect or sweets, although fruit initially but then libido seems to return. As far as mood vegetables are good for a relaxed, friendly positive, unruffled mindset. Something in the veggies has powerful effects but I am still trying to harness it. One thing that seems to definitely enhance libido is fresh garlic. I know this is not about that but there is an overall good effect but it seems my energy dissipates or I don't get the focus thought production, well it does happen I get thought and will production,but...anyhow I got derailed somewhat with mother's day. I ate at Olive garden alot and then went to smoothie king and it's almost 12 hours past that and my stomach doesn't feel right. But I am thinking that Omega 3 foods/vegetables are the reason for positive results. I am going to isolate those this week. I think also that perhaps not enough HCL in the stomach, my stomach could be of concern, will experiment with betaine hydrochloride to determine if my body has trouble with that. After that, I'd like to determine if I have allergies to nightshade plants. But I think certain foods definitely is the reason people get irritable and brain fog. Wanted to add I've been getting what seems like constipation, might be I am not drinking enough water, I am straining when I go to the bathroom.

Anyone had any interesting progress?

Have you checked out the DP Selfhelp forums Recovery Stories -section? It features a lot of what you would like to read about - there's a lot of people whom have recovered from symptoms like these, or at the very least, something very similar.

http://www.dpselfhel...covery-stories/

BTW:

DP/DR is seemingly connected to the glutamatergic and Kappa opioid networks - stuff like Lamotrigine and CERC-501 is reported to help.

But, as usual, no one with DP/DR will actually listen to me and ever try these, or a combo of these... (well, except maybe Brighterpath, who actually got inspired by someone else saying similar things, and headed up the CERC-501 group buy - sadly turned out he was more of the glutamatergic kind, and Kappa-antagonism didn't have the right effect on him - there is still evidence that the majority could get effects from kappa-antagonism though)

I've had a look at some of the recovery stories on the DP forum, some are very interesting.

I'll take a look at those drugs, thanks. I've been diagnosed with CFS/ME. I have a lot of issues with a wide variety of foods/substances too. Coincidentally, I react the strongest to the exact same foods people with mast cell disorders react to. I also get strong symptom reduction effects from 30 mins to an hour of sun exposure, high dose CBD oil & Cold Therapy. All immune modulatory. That's about where I'm at! :)

HMM!! CFS/ME, you say? Well, that certainly puts your issue in a whole different light... Considering you have such issues, then don't put too much weight regarding what I said, because it's very hard to figure out if your DP/DR is anything at all like regular DP/DR then.

Seeing as the sun makes you feel better - have you looked into Vitamine D4 supplementation? Could be a more effective, and quicker, way of getting relief. Alas, I can give very little advice here... only that perhaps you could look into another immuno-modulator - Zink?

That, and have a look at the threads on Phoenix Rising regarding the new research into metabolomics, and some of the exotic drugs, a malaria-medication I believe, which might have effects on CFS/ME.

Btw... isn't there also a debate whether or not CFS and ME should actually be lumped together? I believe there is some evidence that ME is actually a specific infectious disease, which some people are receptive towards, and CFS then, is a general response with lowered metabolism, in order to protect the body. ME then, can in theory be more easily cured, by treating the microorganisms which cause it, whereas CFS could then have many, many different mechanisms that trigger it, and is therefore harder to treat - in theory.

Lol... yes adding Nortriptyline to an SSRI is what you need. Or an MAOI + NTP, but an SSRI alone? Really bad idea, waste of time or will make your anhedonia worse. If I was you, I'd tell this psychiatrist to f*** off by text and find another one and use best arguments  as you can + print papers to convince one to put you on those combinations or at least one MAOI. Keep trying until you find one that truly listens to what you have to say and is understanding. Or one that is knowledgable on anhedonia, but that would be rare. Try NSI-189 if you haven't, tianeptine, agmatine etc. Credits to Jaiho, you can message him he is of great help. I haven't got out yet but in the process of it.

I had no idea Zinc was immune modulatory, muchos gracias for that. I guess that would explain why it had such a relaxing effect on me! Very interesting. That just adds a little more weight to my theory that I have some form of immune dysregulation. I'll have a look into vitamin d4 too. The debate's been going on for years I believe, and yes I'd probably go with your theory. I've had a good look at PR and Rituximab is something I'll most likely have to consider sooner or later..

It doesn't have a very measurable effect on my blank mind. Although it helps restore some of my basic cognitive abilities when I've consumed too many problematic things. My CBD oil dosage ranged from around 20 to 100mg, when needed.

I was curious and searched what it is to have no inner monologue: http://www.dpselfhel...nner-monologue/

Man... this sounds like the worst thing ever... probably need treatments that work for DP, don't know much about that but I think Stinkorninjor does.

I know some, which is more or less what science knows, which is limited.

Lamotrigine and Kappa-antagonists (like CERC-501) - the idea comes from the simple fact that NMDA-antagonising and Kappa-agonising drugs both cause temporary (sometimes permanent for the unlucky few...) DP/DR - thereby, using drugs which work in inversion, one might cause the opposite to happen.

There's some evidence for SSRI's as well, but it's not likely to be as effective, since glutamate and opioid -networks have been implicated in the disease with the newest data.

If it would interest you, CERC-501 is also being researched for the treatment of Anhedonia - I can vouch that it does make one somewhat more motivated and sociable, having used it myself, but I did not find the effects to be anything dramatic - but then again, we don't have the same symptoms.

If you talk to the user Brighterpath, you can ask him if he still has some CERC-501 available from the group buy we did. A small word of warning, our batch was contaminated by an additive for synthetic fuel - probably harmless, especially if you try to evaporate it prior to using the CERC, but still... it needs to be said.
