I've been using the 96 LED CCTV infrared camera for a while but would like to upgrade at some point. There are a few good options I've found but I'm not sure which to choose based on power output etc.

Specs for devices are as follows:

CCTV camera:

850nm

15W = 250mW/cm² (based on the area of the array I measured on mine)

Vetrolaser:

808nm

300mW - I'm not sure if this is overall power of 300mW or 300mW per diode, or 300mW/cm², or something else

Lostfalco uses this and says it's way more powerful than the CCTV camera. Based on the power output though it wouldn't seem so. Is it likely more powerful because it's a laser rather than an LED?

760nm and 830nm
1200 mW/cm² - this is a huge increase in power over the CCTV camera and not sure if it'd be safe?
200 mW/cm² @10cm

Should I be looking at 1200mW/cm² or the 200 mW/cm² @10cm? How is this measured in the studies? Is it right on the lights or is it at 10 cm? Would the output I measured for the CCTV device be at 10 cm?

Any opinions on all this are appreciated cause I'm not sure what to make of it.
