The earliest written idea, that low temperatures can be used as a time traveling for avoiding death, that I know of, is from the scripts from an speech from an opening of a congress, and belong to a russian born bulgarian physicist, named Bahmetiev. He has spoken loud that idea in the early 1900s.
Later on in In 1972 has been established a cryonics company named TransTime, that as its name shows, has been viewing the cryopreservation of people in liquid nitrogen also as a way for going to the future.

A video from the 70s mentions about the possibility of time travel if human embryos get effectively cryopreserved.

Watch it from 19:35
A later russian video says that cryopreservation of embryos can be viewd as a time travel and also says, that today already walk people, who in their earliest stages have been cryopreserved embryos. Unforunately I cant find the video now. It is somewhere in youtube.
I wonder what is your oppinion on using low temperatures for time travel?
