Back in Febuary 2016, my doctor noticed a spike in my iron blood levels: value of 185µg/dl (40-155 reference range).
I started off with consuming Chlorella occasionally, also bought modified pectine from Swanson. I'm not sure either of these did anything huge.
Upon researching a bit more I decided on trying out IP-6 to get some iron out of my body. I bought a tub of IP6 Gold Immune Support Formula(14.6 oz powder mix). Finished this tub today (I forgot about taking it for a while, only recently religiously took it every day to finish the tub).
Recent bloodwork revealed my levels to now be at 135µg/dl. It's hardly halved my levels, but to me it does show that IP-6 is quite capable of getting Iron out of your body, although it does take some time. If I start donating blood some more, I'm sure I can now take my levels down further.
