Assuming we're to await the gaping yawn of science for more decades, let's think about how to stimulate stem cells. We'd like to improve tissue regeneration after our DIY removal of senescent cells (D+Q) adventures. No practical help shall come anytime soon, so...

I'm just throwing out a promising somethin-somethin called Mozobil talked up once upon a time, oh, like nine years ago, check it: http://www.longecity...rthritisjoints/

Or: https://www.google.c...ll-cabinet/amp/

“Mozobil is already out there on the market, so it’s feasible that trials could happen in the next five to 10 years,” says Rankin (back in, yawn, 2009).

Ideas about how we can form group buys for promising stem cell activators are what's pitched onto the welcome mat here, because god knows I ain't married to no Mozobil.

Hi sthira,

Thanks for starting this topic. After doing several runs of Dasatinib with Quercetin I'm actually seeking to rebuild after kind of bashing the wrecking ball throughout my body. It isn't so much to feel in good shape but to muscle up and regain a nice fat layer under glowing tight skin. Killing cells smacks of death if you overdo it. And we need to find a way to reboot our vital functions into high gear. I'm going to try HGH this time along with Epitalon and Thymalin but will definitely look into Mobozil. However, it would have to be a group buy from a very friendly lab that offers super competitive pricing:

"Both Mozobil® and G-CSF are based on weight and administered via a subcutaneous injection (beneath the skin). Thus for an average 70 kg adult, the treatment cost for Mozobil® is $30,220 for 4 days of therapy and the cost for G- CSF is $3,770 for 8 days of therapy, equating to an approximate combined cost of $34,000."

Caution: If differentiation exceeds replication stim cells can be used up decreasing lifespan. As I recall this occurs in rats with FOXO gene deletions.

Zoledronate (expensive once yearly bisphosphonate injection} increase human lifespan 5 yr by "preserving" stim cells.

Curcumin may stimulate stim cell replication or differentiation, not sure which.

Curcumin as a double-edged sword for stem cells: dose, time and cell type-specific responses to curcumin

What, you don't have $3 millions per year to possibly decrease your lifespan? Well, phooey, I guess the exhaustive fountain of y search shall keep on dragging on.

  Well researched, thanks.

Where did you see 5 years lifespan increase though ? Its not mentioned in the paper you cited and any human lifespan study would be ... a very long endeavor for certain ) Or is an extrapolation of 28% decrease in mortality ?

If all 28% could be attributed to preserving stem cells...its huge. Very rough and sketchy - Majority (75%) in this study was woman, median 75.  In this age decreasing all cause mortality by third it is like been 6 years younger. From 2 annual IV treatments ?

Its hard to estimate what cause what in the study setting. Hip fracture in this age bracket increase all cause mortality 3 fold, so 28% decrease could be attributed to better treatment or something else.

Anyway its fascinating data )

Zoledronate is not so expensive drug BTW. Its a 100$ in Ukraine for once a year treatment its really not so much.

The 5 yr life extension was observed from the Dubbo osteoporosis study database. AN EXTRA 5 YEARS OF LIFE AN UNEXPECTED BENEFIT OF OSTEOPOROSIS TREATMENT

I haven't looked at how many injections were used.

In the past bisphosphonates were used many years in a row.  Continuous use of bisphosphonates can eventually result in very weak bones. Well informed doctors know to take a break after 2 years to let some normal bone remodeling occur.

Zoledronate is approx $1,000 per injection in the US.
