Metformin is frequently recommended but a number of people don't feel well taking it. Another compound which also raises AMPK is the Chinese herb gymnostemma. It also has positive effects of insulin sensitivity, etc. Good info on it at examine.com but I don't seem to be able to paste the link.

Boron and iodine are the key minerals that get the body recatalised and able to do the things it needs to heal. Discover what YOUR body needs as companion nutrients. Never take drugs, the synthetic types. Try not to take synthetic vitamins. Research Aceytlation/Methalation in the body. Vanadium, molybdenum, zinc, magnesium are essential, but copper selenium, calcium and iron are the ones that can be abundant, so show caution. Globular proteins should be taken sparingly. Exercise until moderate pain and be progressive if possible.
Use quarter dosing, only use mega dosing after familiarising yourself with deficiency symptoms of other nutrients involved with the pathways. If in doubt, leave it out. Or experiment with yourself.
Anxiety is a detachment, or blockage of the nerve from the flesh. Just a random fact. Thx

What is really needed is a set of test that predict our biological age. Without that how in world are you going to know if anything is working? Maybe this is part of the answer.
Simple urine test could measure how much our body has aged A promising new marker of aging could help predict the risk of developing age-related disease and even deathhttps://www.scienced...80227090733.htm

Someone was "unsure" about my "stack". I would be happy to answer questions and would be even happier to drop/replace any useless supplements, but just clicking "unsure" seems a bit unproductive.

Broccoli sprouts, curry with curcumin and turmeric, garlic, blueberries, strawberries, goji berries, yoga, weight lifting, aerobic exercise, intermittent fasting...
and pterostiobene, melatonin, rifampin, aspirin, NMN, and Lactobacillus reuteri.
I've taken C60EVOO, mitoq, CoQ10, ALA, carnosine, beta-alanine, NAG, NAC, ALT-711, ad infinitum, for periods, and cycle through many things intermittently. Northing seems to stay in favor for long, though.

Tru niagen 250 mg (assuming that you're over 50)
A good telomerase activator (if we can get one)... otherwise, you might have to Liz Parrish yourself with AAV vector telomerase
And pay up your cryonics insurance
But the best anti-aging medicine would be a country where biotech was fully legal... if terminal patients were allowed to try experimental drugs, then biotech would progress as fast as computers. Our little cell-computers only have 2.8 gig of memory, and 97% of that is just "malware" (old lentivirus)

Wow, how much are you actually taking at once/daily? Regarding Pomella, I already take some Pomegranate extract derived from the dried fruit, allegedly standardized to 40% Ellagic Acid (Didn't test it), I've been considering switching to a proven formulation such as ND's Pomella since I'm interested in the benefits of Urolithin A, what's your experience with it?

- Omega-3 (phospholipid form)
- Magnesium (reacted / chelated form)
- B-Complex (methylated / active form)
- K2 (Mk4 + Mk7)
- Iodine
- D3
- Creatine (monohydrate)
- Amino acids (peri-workout)
- Adaptogen (cycle)
- Polyphenol / Phytonutrient (cycle)
- Vitamin C
- Zinc (low-dose)
That's sort of my go to. The adaptogens / phytos are where things look interesting on a month to month basis, with stuff like resveratrol, pterostilbene, fisetin, curcumin, reishi, lions mane, etc.

How much iodine do you take?
I ramped up over the course of a year from 100mcg/d to north of 1mg/d (along with selenium), then ramped back down, feeling like I fairly adequately saturated with the stuff. My thyroid levels are all decent and antibodies are undetectable, so everything went well. I now just do 200-300mcg/d as a maintenance dose. I've tried nascent iodine, but I hate the taste. Potassium iodide is basically water by comparison. Personally, I don't feel the need to go higher than the 2-3 drops I currently take.

For heart disease, energy levels, preventing and reversing gray hair, skin quality and basically everything in your body, high dose nicotinic acid + l-carnitine is a very effective combo
For cancer prevention Selenium complex (Life-Extension brand) is good.
Vitamin C, lysine and vitamin k2 are also incredibly good for various aspects of heart disease.
This is plain wrong, high dose nicotinic acid, sends BG into double numbers for insulin resistant, and diabetic individuals.
On,
1. Kyolic Garlic
2. Ubiquinol
3. Fish oil 4g/day
4. Sulbutiamine/Benfotiamine + Methylcobalamin + P5P + Myoinositol + Methylfolate
5. Taurine
6. D3/K2 MK4
7. Berberine
8. Na-R.ala
9. Resveratrol
10. Gamma T + Tocotrienols
11. OLE
12. Magnesium
13. Methylselenocysteine
14. Rutin + citrus bioflavonoids
15. Rosemary/Turmeric/Ginger/Cloves/Mexican Oregano/Black Seed/Spearmint

In case you didn't already know, IP6 (also known as phytate) is a chelating agent, and is particularly known for absorbing Zinc, but also Manganese, Magnesium, Copper and others. Personally, I wouldn't take it for the long term for that reason, but if you do, then added Zinc supplementation and periodic blood tests (serum Zinc is fine) would be advisable.
