P5P is a terrible thing to overdose on, it causes all kind of issues, irritability, anxiety and so on. I do not recommend daily supplement with it, even at only 100% of the rda let alone megadoses. If you must, it should be b complex.

On cronometer, I average around 2mg/d of B6. This benfotiamine (B1) tablet would include 2mg (or a 0.6mg bump if taken twice a week and rounded out over the daily average.)
I've got the TT MTHFR gene, and the ApoE4 gene, both raising the risk of alzheimer's. On this article, ~3-4mg looked like the sweet spot: http://www.mdpi.com/2072-6643/9/1/53
In general, I'm more curious about tacking on the B1 via fat-soluble benfotiamine, which will seemingly lower glycation... but I'm not sure if there are pro-carcinogenic concerns (particularly when very insulin sensitive and consuming this around cyclical carby meals.)

If you want to make amazing anti glycation combo, get turmeric, clove, and black seed from iherb - frontier/starwest botanicals (organic versions) and you will have amazing protection from ANYTHING.
