Is there any type of consensus on this in terms of best delivery method, dose, concentration or is it too early or too individual to each person to be answerable?

Just started researching CBD for chronic pain. From what I can tell CBD by itself is not that effective, but more effective with small quantities of THC. The better products are likely full spectrum hemp extracts. Products that are high CBD are oftentimes made by just dissolving pure CBD and oil.

Just started researching CBD for chronic pain. From what I can tell CBD by itself is not that effective, but more effective with small quantities of THC. The better products are likely full spectrum hemp extracts. Products that are high CBD are oftentimes made by just dissolving pure CBD and oil.

I suggest another potentially effective combination then, even legal in just about any region.

High-dose PARACETAMOL + CBD.

A recent study did indeed conclude that THC is the most likely, most potent painkilling compound in Cannabis - it works via downregulation of the activity in the ACC - Anterior Cingulate Cortex. HOWever... other recent studies also finally cracked the MOA of another plant-extract, 70 years in the making... Paracetamol, a compound extracted from birch-bark, is as a matter of fact - an SCRI - Selective Cannabinoid Reuptake Inhibitor - and you know what? It also inhibits the activity in the ACC...

The ACC is the portion of the brain which sorts out the more base impulses regarding both emotional and physical pain - that's why chronic cannabis-users are so dis-phased by everything - they have actual less emotion - their startle-response is permanently inhibited because of decreased activity in the ACC.

Read more here:

So, your stack would be something like this:

4 GRAMs Paracetamol

CBD

Milk Thistle

Glutathione

With the two last compounds added, your liver will be able to endure the increased strain from high-dose Paracetamol, which will allow the CBD to synergize with it. Btw, the cognitive side-effects of THC are not present with Paracetamol, possibly owing to the higher selectivity of Paracetamol. (think: the difference between an SSRI and 5HTP)

Of course, this is more dangerous than just using a low dose of THC-oil as an additive to the CBD-oil, so... if Cannabis is legal in your jurisdiction, or available medically, then just use that instead.

PS:
Paracetamol should be outlawed and discontinued world-wide. AM-404 is the way forward!
