Thanks Stink, How high is high? Does it have to be threonate?
High is about 4 caps per day, they come in 667 mg, soo... 2,67 GRAMS worth of Mag-LT. The total of Magnesium is not as high though, more like 1 gram - which, mind you, is still a lot.
It has to be Threonate, because that's the only one which has effects on the brain, it crosses the blood-brain barrier via the aminoacid transporter for Threonate, that's how it helps with neurogenesis and lowers NMDA-hyperactivity.
It's kind of fitting that it's a metal which can compete with Mercury as well, if taken in high enough doses, yes?
Hmm... I just realized... some of your symptoms... according to some sources they could be because of the displacement of ANOTHER metal than Magnesium to Mercury...!
Zinc.

Replacement reactions, also called fight for site, occur when mercury (usually with a +2 charge) grabs the biological spaces which should be filled by necessary minerals. Symptoms that can be caused by a deficiency of minerals displaced by mercury include:
- Zinc: anorexia nervosa, loss of taste and smell, loss of appetite, low libido, PMS
You've got low libido, right?
Mercury blocks magnesium and manganese transport required for memory, resulting in lowered ability to concentrate

Might be a good idea to load up on Zinc citrate, or perhaps Zinc Glycinate, to get some even more NMDA-antagonistic action, as well as modulation of the immune-system.
Just remember that you CAN'T take both supplements at the same time! They both compete for the same transporter in some places, so to get the full effect, you have to space them with at least an hour in-between both supplementation, and any meals. Since both compounds, especially when combined, is known to cause sleepiness, take them in two intervals towards the evening - Zinc at 20.00 hours and Magnesium at 21.15 hours.
Just had a double-check, and it would appear as if Mercury is INDEED an NMDA-AGonist! Perfect... With the dual use of Zinc and Magnesium, you shall out-compete it and lower NMDA-activity drastically!
Of course, if you truly have some form of ADHD as well, then it would be beneficial too, since ADHD-ers have a naturally higher activity in their NMDA-networks, which has been shown to be a part of the pathology - Memantine for instance, does indeed improve symptoms for some with the disease.
GO FORTH AND ANTAGONISE YOUR NMDA-RECEPTORS YOUNG ONE! : D
PS:
I'd take apart the capsules of one of the MagLT-caps and let it absorb sublingually, to make absolute certain that it reaches your brain - apparently this works, as several have noticed that the anxiolytic effects of MagLT is wastly improved via sublingual administration. It should be noted that the taste is somewhat strange though... not necessarily bad, but very unusual.
