Nicotinanide Riboside is trash. The research behind it is flawed. Im tired of being polite about this. Ill knock someone out if they want to bring this up. I usually dont get violent but this snake oil is on my last nerve.

Its part of the new meet and beat ultra violence settings. It was specifically implemented for people to bring the pain against some of these punks pushing this mess.

Valijon, I suggest CRISPR as your knockout tool. CRISPR is an acronym for "Completely Righteous Instantaneous Seriously Pugilistic Response".

MikeDC and Valijon enter the ThunderDome?

Two men enter, one man leaves .....

But seriously Valijon, why do you say NR is "trash"?

ETA: Sorry to hear about your father.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad, too, Valijon.

And I think it's safe to say that just about everyone -- even the trolls here - feels your frustration with the slow pace of solutions to repair aging damage.

Thank you. He was released from the hospital with an infection no one could locate. We were told the iv antibiotics had killed the infection. 2 days later maybe 3 he went septic.hospital sent him out with no antibiotics. This was one of several problems in the mishandling of his care. His primary physician was either an idiot or incompetent. Dad had a pre cancerous condition and the dr had treated him for 8 years. Well the guy blew dad off and it wasnt till a gastroenterologist discovered it that we had any idea. He never presented with signs of cancer. One of my 2 degrees is in professional nursing aka my RN degree.

I feel medicine is such high stress and filled with people like this dr. For a dozen reasons im leaving to become an elementary school teacher.

This is now a matter for my mothers attorneys to deal with. I speak with ny father every night in my dreams.

Ill try to expound on ny statement against NR in a few days. Please be patient.

I am also sorry to hear your dad died, sincere condolences.

I hope however that you aim your rage at something else than what you propose at the start of this thread and repeated in a second message. Sorry to say but that's just not right no matter the function or lack of it of NR.

I would not go so far as to say Vallijon is trash. He's obviously very upset due to the death of his father. Let's give him a little while to cool down.

However, I'd agree the fact this thread hasn't been quickly deleted is a sign of the anti-NR agenda on this forum and elsewhere. There are a lot of supporters of NMN that would love to see NR banned and NMN become prescription only.

The trash Person threatens people's lives.

Personal threats should not be tolerated on this forum. I still wouldn't call him or her a trash person. Him or her is obviously upset at the death of their father. Extreme emotions can make people say irrational things.

I am highly surprised that the moderators who once accused me of ad hominem attacks on other users (offered to wager a permanent ban on my account if they could provide one example which they were unable to do) is letting this thread stay open when it is extremely biased with no evidence and the OP seems to be threatening other users.

No surprises. Moderators of almost all public forums works for special interest. I have learned this first hand.
Trillions of drug revenue could vanish because of NR. The special interests were too stupid to realize how effective and revolutionary NR is.
Now they are starting to react. It is too late to kill it. Might as well jump on the bandwagon and license some specific indications from ChromaDex.

You know Mike, you kinda did take this to a personal level.  Valijon said "NR is trash".  You made it personal by saying "Valijon is trash".

Seems like there's some blame on both sides.  This doesn't really appear to be productive at this point.

What he said was totally inexcusable under normal circumstances. However, since his father just died, I'd cut him a little slack. I hope that he'll apologize for the threat of physical violence in the next few days. If not, I think the moderators should take appropriate action because this forum cannot be a place where such blatant threats are tolerated.

The main reason after why I haven't tried NR yet is my aversion towards MikeDC. I'm completely serious about this.

I have received many mails from people discussing NR with me.
Don't think a few ignorant people here represent everyone. I am spreading the word of NR. People are benefiting from it. If you don't take it, it is your choice.

As far as a bias exhibited across all moderators against NR by the moderators, I do not buy it for a moment.

Michael who has been quite active in the threads related to NR and other NAD+ related discussion, has regularly posted rebuttals to anti NR comments, and pro NR comments with their rationale, and fact based analysis refuting claims, in defense of claims and when appropriate, questioning of the validity of the results based on study parameters.

mrkosh1, it is unfortunate that you were threatened with being barred. I hope the moderators learned from the mistake.

Unlike the work of Michael, the tireless spamming of threads by one of the participants in this thread has been a waste of many members time, and has polluted some threads to the point of them becoming difficult to mine for the information within them. I have seen this as a strategy at times in other forum discussions. They bury facts behind overwhelming repeated B.S.

I see an irony in what that poster has done. In my view they have marginalized their position on NR which is sad. They have a lot of great information to share on the general NAD+, and specific NR knowledge. I had hoped that they would cut back, and emphasize by regularly sharing the quality of supported information which they know.

As to why the thread still stands, I think it is likely complicated by the content in ways we do not realize.

So sorry for your loss Valijon

While I had mild benefits with NR I am trying NAD+ intake that may give a more potent effect. More in another thread.

Wishing you courage
