Hi all,

I recently read about the benefits of polyamines (specifically spermidine) and found out that wheat germ contains a decent amount of spermidine. However, I could not find any sources online that stated that toasted wheat germ contains less or no spermidine when compared to raw wheat germ. I only noticed that a few members here recommended to buy raw wheat germ over toasted because of the possibility that spermidine is lost in the toasted variety, but I wasn't convinced.

What do you guys think?

I see it has a boiling point of 264.2 F.  So its fairly robust it would seem.  Besides peas, lentils seem to be great sources.  Not sure how much extra benefit supplementation would have given how much you could get in a diet.  A research supply house would cost 200 or more for pure.
