Hi and welcome! Here are a few articles. The third is a study on NMN but it would appear from many studies that NMN and NR share most of the same benefits as a result of their shared enzymatic pathway. There is some debate about differences in tissue distribution, but we don't have much data on that yet. Suffice to say it appears NR may be able to help, it almost certainly wouldn't hurt to try. Note: NR is also known by its trade name Niagen in case you are doing google searches for the product and having any difficulty finding a reputable source.

I don't have personal experience with regard to measuring effect of NR on heart/kidney's but my father takes it and also has a heart condition (I recommend it after his last bypass). I don't know if it is helping him but I can say he's vigorous and appears to be in much better health since his last heart attack. He's been playing plenty of golf in the summer and in the winter he has quite a few strenuous activities in which he engages. I know that's not much to go on, sorry! But the studies I think are very important to read through if you get the time.
Best of luck!
