Just saw this pop up on youtube.

Is it just me or does he look much older than his actual age??? Considering what a bunch of nobodies like ourselves do and take to improve health and prevent the agony of aging, you would logically conclude that this guy would be on everything from telomerase therapies to senoltytics.... But he looks older than his age like he isn't doing anything.

I think he said something to the effect of him trying to slow down his metabolism or cell division, which would explain why he looks bad. Remember that growth hormone may make you look younger through increased cell division but it doesn't make you live longer because it shortens telomeres.

Aubrey drinks a lot of beer! Is that or is that not a high carb diet? AHis beard might make him look much older than he would look without it. Perhaps he is an alcoholic who has thought up a unique scam to feed his habit. Perhaps he is hoping that uridine will stop excessive aging or maybe that he will die before every one wakes up and realises what he fund raises for is just a scam. He doesn't really say anything new either. Despite that he gives me hope. At the end of the day perhaps comfort in a religious sort of way, in an old Testament prophet sort of way. He stands in front of us saying "Prepare ye the way of the Lord(the time when people will have a healthy old age). In the beginning it was immortality but that didn't go down too well.
Despite this critique I kind of like him and I would be deeply honoured to politely listen to him hope he's right in what he says and buy him many beers. In a way he is my hero because he's paved the way for all the good work that has followed and who knows maybe he really will come up with something that will save many lives. Then he'd be even more of a hero. At least he's brave enough to publicly say we have a serious problem. We really do

Strange I misread the headline as the science of curing anger. I hope I haven't made Aubrey angry because I think he's great
