Sometimes I like to take DL-phenylalanine, which usually has some modest effect, but rarely anything that I would consider overwhelming. In most cases, it appears to just give me a little added focus and not much else -- kind of boring, but not worthless. Sometimes it actually makes me feel worse by inhibiting my verbal abilities and causing a slight tension. On a couple occasions, however, I've found it to produce euphoric, almost hypomanic results, which can be quite enjoyable, albeit potentially stressful, depending on how strong they come on. In any case, I'm dying to know why this tends to happen on some occasions but not on others. My guess is that it has something to do with the conversion to phenylethylamine, yet I haven't the slightest clue as to why this occurs so infrequently. Anyone have any ideas?

fk that shit. it works like tyrosine anyway. some people get anxety from stimulans and tyrosine, aspartame,. Some not. its just what it is. Just look for things that will benefit you, not waste your time.
btw i switched saccharine to aspartame on my morning filter coffee (1 liter) it has some synergstic effect when you put shtloads of aspartame on coffee probably because of phenylalanine. im getting effects like you.
