Our next guest for the Longecity Podcast is Johnny Adams, CEO of Bourhenne Medical Research Foundation

Johnny's been an active advocate and researcher of anti-ageing science for decades. He recently featured on the London Futurists Panel Discussion and his organisation is currently focused on:

1. Plasma Transfer / Umbilical Cord Plasma Transfer into older species.   Circulating Systemic Environmental Factors and other components of young and umbilical plasma have demonstrated regenerative effects in lab animals and are believed to have positive effects in humans.

2. DNA methylation / epigenetic clock testing and therapies to reset methylation to more youthful profile.

3. Research into optimal doses and combinations of age management therapies — like senolytics, rapamycin, metformin, NAD, GDF11, and others.

3. Gene editing to repair and improve genes

4. Long term — Nanotechnology, tiny machines to repair DNA, cells and other parts of our bodies.

I would like to ask if it is really possible to reverse cognitive decline using Rapamycin, if not which of all the treatments to reverse ageing does he think might work for Alzheimer's disease and how much would it cost?

I was able to ask the question about rapamycin and Alzheimer's. He did not have any direct knowledge on the efficacy of specific treatments but he did suggests some researchers who might know.
