Well, I appreciated it. Thanks! Maybe I'll get downvoted too :)

I have Cebria on order. They say it takes about 14-21 days to ship. So I want to try that, and I also want to try intranasal cerebrolysin to compare effects.

Hey cyberger -

Just wondering if your Cebria arrived yet and whether you had any experiences with it you could share?

Cebria ended up getting shipped pretty quickly, and I've taken it for about 8 days. It's hard to say for sure, but I think it has caused some subtle improvements in long term memory recall and automatic visualization abilities. Usually, my mind doesn't automatically relate what I'm experiencing with past memories, but prior autobiographical memories seem to be popping into my head more frequently now. Or when people are relating events/stories, my mind is visualizing what they are saying with greater spontaneity.

Will probably do some escalating dosing to help establish a definite causal relationship.

Hey cyberger. Just wondering if you had any updates to share on this. Do you still take it? If not, why did you quit? What effects did you get from taking it?

Does anyone else have any experience to offer?

Because of testing other supplements, I hadn't gotten around to getting conclusive results on the cebria. Now, I've tested it long enough to conclude it does little if anything for me. Taking larger does per day (such as 2 or 3 pills / day) didn't produce any acute dramatic improvements. Taking it continuously for longer periods of time (weeks) also hasn't produced much of anything either, maybe an ever so-slight improvement in episodic visual memory, but it's hard to say for sure. It's pretty expensive, so I would recommend if people want to try memory boosting supplements that they start with something else before trying Cebria.

I think that's a good update. Thanks for getting back to us. The search continues...

I read that both MemoProve & Cerebrolysin are isolated from pig brains. Does this mean that the compound was initially created based on an extract from a pig it or that what we'd be taking was once in a live pig? I have concerns about animal borne diseases like (similar to Mad Cow).

The issue has been brought many times before. From what I understand Cerbrolysin contains a sodium hydroxide solution which is used in standard practice to inactivate prions. You probably can search for a better explanation.

I just got it from Russia and will conduct a biohacker trial...

I'd be interested to hear if there is any evidence that sodium hydroxide does inactivate prions.

Prions are notoriously robust. My recollection is they will survive autoclaving and almost any other standard disinfectant.

Are there any papers on NaOH and prions?

Son of a gun, I looked it up and indeed there are papers on NaOH inactivating prions.

Critical factors influencing prion inactivation by sodium hydroxide

It would be nice to know if Cerbrolysin is in fact processed with NaOH for that purpose.

You could just email EVER pharma about your questions if you want... i'm sure they'd be happy to answer.

Anyway, as I understand it: it contains free amino acids, and peptides below 10 kDA. So nothing amino acid or peptide related above that size. So another way to go about it is find a prion in known existence that's below 10 kDA.

Besides NaOH there are ways of mechanically filtering stuff below certain sizes, which maybe they use as well. Anyway they use an enzymatic process to break down the proteins, is my understanding, but it's a long time since I read up on this.

Personally I never bothered obsessing over this issue, as it's been approved in all kinds of countries. I'll admit at the time I started taking it I was rather desperate (could not speak, etc) so I wouldn't have cared either way.

If it's any comfort I know of no reports of prions from Cere and I've personally used liters over the years. If you are worried about prions perhaps you should stop eating meat as well, and just eat pure free amino acids that you filter thru some expensive centrifugal filter you can buy at sigma-aldritch (just to make sure any fluke prions are removed).

I took it for about a month and it did have a noticeable Nootropic effect on my focus and productivity. I could not tell if it had an effect on my memory. Piracetam had more impact on my long-term memory, that's my go-to recommendation for upgrading memory. I did a vlog about it...
